Early Out Program Was Tons of Fun

Last Thursday, a group of 3rd and 4th graders came to the library for the first early out program of the year. We made hanging Chinese paper lanterns. The kids had a great time decorating their lanterns with stamps, stickers, crepe paper, and ribbons. Most of the children made more than one lantern, and several of them left one here at the library to use as decorations in the future. To see more pictures from the program, you can visit our Flickr page. Keep your eyes on the blog for information about our next early out for 1st and 2nd graders in November!
