Tuesday Storytimes for March

Join Miss Jennifer at the library every Tuesday for preschool storytime. Preschool storytime meets at 10:30 a.m. and is geared for ages 2-5, but siblings are always welcome. Each session consists of 20-25 minutes of stories, songs, and action rhymes followed by a craft. No registration is required. Harry Potter Trivia Winners!

Our Harry Potter display is still up for another week or two, but our trivia contest ended this week. Here are the winners of the contest. New DVDs Arriving All the Time

Our DVD collection is growing by leaps and bounds. Every week you should see a few new ones on the shelf. We will be getting not only popular new releases, but also some documentaries and award nominated films. In order to see what DVDs we have, you can go to the "advanced search" option in the catalog. Go to "location" and select "DVD Collection." Then you can just hit the search key without typing in any criteria and it will bring up all of the adult DVDs. If something that you want is checked out, you can put it on hold right there in the catalog or call the library and we can do it for you. Make sure to come on in and see all of our new additions!

Harry Potter Trivia Contest Still Going On

The Harry Potter display is still up at the library, and that means there is still time to enter the trivia contest. There are two sets of trivia questions, an easy one and a hard one. Entries with correct answers to the easy questions will be entered to win a hand-knit Gryffindor hat and a Harry Potter candy prize pack. Entries with correct answers to the hard questions will be entered to win Harry's broom and a framed Deathly Hallows poster. Prizes will be drawn on February 21, so get your entries in soon!

Early Out Library Special on February 18

Our next early out program at the library is coming up soon! On Friday, February 18, we will have a special program just for 3rd and 4th graders. Library staff will go to the school to pick up the students and walk them over to the library. The kids will eat their lunch and then we will all do spin art projects. Parents can pick up their children at 12:45 pm when the program ends. In order to attend, students must register at the library and have their parents fill out a permission slip. Registration is limited and the last day to sign up is Wednesday, February 16, so sign up fast! For more information, contact the library at 624-2678.

More Cake Pans Available

We recently added several new cake pans to our collection here at the library. Some of the new additions include a hippo, an owl, a cat, a football, and a guitar. To browse through our entire selection of pans, you can look at the binder at the circulation desk. Pick out the pan you want and we will get it for you to check out. Happy baking!
