Thank You!!
We recently received very generous donations from the Coralville/North Corridor Rotary Club and the Solon American Legion Auxiliary. Both of these organizations have been strong supporters of the library in the past and we want to thank them for their continued support.
We used the money from the Rotary Club to purchase replacement copies for many books in the children's collection that had grown worn and damaged from many years of checkouts. With the money from the American Legion Auxiliary we purchased several new holiday titles that focus on the Fourth of July and Memorial Day holidays.
Thanks to them once again for their donations!

Pictures From the Holiday Party
Even though it was a very cold night on Tuesday, over 150 people braved the weather to come to our annual Holiday Party. Lots of children came with their lists in hand, ready to tell Santa what they want for Christmas. Everyone had a great time making stockings, doing scratch-art ornaments, and eating lots of cookies!
Here are some pictures from the party. If you would like to see some more photos, you can visit our Flickr page.

Guest Reviewer Nick
Title: The Last Olympian
Author: Rick Riordan
Summary: While the Olympians struggle to contain the rampaging monster Typhon, Kronos begins his advance on New York City, where Mount Olympus stands virtually unguarded. Now it's up to Percy Jackson and an army of young demigods to stop the Lord of Time.
Nick Says: I liked this book because it was the end of the series of books that I was reading.
